Creative Lives in Progress
Creative Lives in Progress (formerly Lecture in Progress) is an inclusive creative careers resource, on a mission to transform the way emerging talent access, understand and connect with the industry.
We encourage greater transparency and representation within the creative working world by sharing advice and insight, highlighting entry-level opportunities, as well as hosting events that bring talent and industry together.
We are committed and excited about our work. Rather than wait for the answers, or for permission to do something, we take the initiative and learn through doing.
We are excited about what’s next, even if it's a little unknown. From a new technology in a project through to the opportunity to take on responsibility slightly outside of our comfort zone. We know bravery and embracing change will lead to brilliant things.
We know the best things happen when we work together. Whether that’s in a team internally looking for feedback on projects, with brilliant creative talent from all over the world, or with our clients and customers directly. We are capable of so much more when we stick together and share ideas.
We appreciate everyone we work with. We believe that everyone deserves respect and attention. We show confidence and understanding over ego, not looking down to anyone, no matter how challenging the situation. We are honest, true and fair in all of our relationships.
We are inherently interested to learn about new things. So, if we don’t know the answer to a question, or are unsure of why a client has chosen a certain strategy, we ask. If we are interested in something, we look for ways to discover more about it. This knowledge gives us the confidence to do our jobs brilliantly.
All of our companies are currently hybrid, working remotely and based out of our central London studio.
As collaboration is such a key aspect of our work, we do everything we can to mix collaborative digital touchpoints in the week, and facilitate physical working under the same roof. This set up allows us to share project spaces, cross-pollinate ideas, share diverse references and make use of the hive mind of the whole studio when problem solving. Importantly it also allows the smaller companies to benefit from support and knowledge from the more established companies and vice-versa.
Our team is made up of fifty passionate individuals with a range of different expertise. Within the HudsonBec Group we have creatives, art directors, project managers, writers, editors, social media managers, marketing managers, a studio manager, an HR manager as well as regular freelance support working on specific projects and briefs. We care passionately about improving representation in the creative industry - and set ourselves annual targets to ensure diversity across our workforce, which you can read here.
We’re always looking for talented people to join the team, if you’re interested in working with us please visit the Careers page.
